Charles Hayden M. D. has been a part of the Madison, AL community for 4 years and serves on the staff of the Asbury Family Counseling Center. The center offers psychiatric evaluation by Dr Hayden including medication evaluation and prescribing. Evaluations may include lab work and coordinating care with other physicians. Counseling and therapy are provided by Dr Hayden and several seasoned therapists who are Licensed
Professional Counselors (LPC) and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW).

The Asbury Counseling Center has an informal and welcoming feel in a house converted into office space on the 44 acre campus of the Asbury Methodist Church in Madison. Church membership or religious affiliation is not an issue for those seeking services at the counseling center.
Great effort is made to provide competent and caring mental health services to the public and give attention to those with concerns that their spiritual beliefs will be respected.

Physician referral is not required. Dr Hayden is available to coordinate care with your primary care physician or therapist to ensure that all involved are communicating and working together for your best health.

Dr Hayden is a graduate of University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham where he attended medical school and residency training in psychiatry. He has 20 years of practice experience as a psychiatrist working with adults 18 years and older. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry.

He is a member of the Alabama Psychiatric Society Christian Medical and Dental Society Madison County Medical Society  The American Psychiatric Association.
